Welcome to the New Website!

I’ve decided to move my site over to a UK-based provider, and I’m really pleased with how straightforward the process has been. The platform is run by the rather oddly named freewebstore.co.uk, but despite the name, their support and website tools have been excellent.

I hope you find the site easy to navigate and that everything you need is clear and accessible. One thing to note: the system behind the site is originally designed for online shops rather than events. That means the workshop section might look a little different from what you’re used to, but I’ll be able to tweak and improve it as we go along. Hopefully, it will work smoothly for everyone. And if there’s anything you’re not keen on, please let me know—it’s quite easy for me to make changes from home.

Navigation is simple:

• Books → to browse and buy books
• Workshops → to explore and book workshops

I’ve also added a Workshops Calendar, which lists all the dates for late 2025 and into 2026. I know many of you find that really useful.

New dates haven’t been added to the Mountain Training CMS site yet, but I’ll update that probably in October. (I’ll be away for most of September, as it happens.)

To stay up to date, I’d encourage you to sign up for the newsletter. Once I’m back, I’ll start sending regular updates with workshop news, plus other notes and ideas from the hill that I think you’ll enjoy.

I’m really looking forward to seeing many of you at a workshop soon!
