Risk, T&C's
Hi Folks
This is the boring, but necessary and important legal bit. I can keep the terms and conditions to a minimum, here goes
- No refunds can be guaranteed within 30 days of the course commencement. I will issue one if we can find a replacement.
- I’m afraid dogs cannot accompany you.
- I expect you to be dressed appropriately for the event. i.e. ready for the hill.
- I expect you to be aware of the risks associated with hillwalking and scrambling.
- You need to let me know if you do not want your picture taken.
Hope that’s Ok
Rather than me asking you all for next of kin, blood group etc just fill those details in in the Safety and Emergency bit of your phone. You should find it in settings. If there is something I really need to know about you that may affect that day, then let me know on the checkout form too.
Now, risk assessment. Again, I’m pretty sure most of you know what you are in for on a days hillwalking, but (even if it’s just for role modelling) here goes with the workshop risk assessment

Risk assessment is an ongoing dynamic process. The leader is qualified and experienced at leading groups in outdoor environments. Factors such as who is in the group, the terrain and the weather will all conspire to create potential risk. This will be managed through the day and a flexible, responsive, approach will be required |
